Did not accept yelp coupon at the register after the first employee verified it would work. Poor customer service.

There is one thing I miss most about LA, and that is Chipotle. When I heard about Qdoba though, I thought that maybe it could fill the void left in my stomach by Chipotle. Well, it doesn't completely fill the void, but it does help. It's a great substitute, and they do a wonderful job copying Chipotle's formula. They even add a little extra, by offering breakfast burritos and cheesy sauce, of which I was initially suspicious, but are actually quite good. My main problem which Qdoba though is that the salsa containers are small. A small gripe, I know, but I use a LOT of salsa on my burrito, and the small salsa containers just don't work. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you're looking for an enormous burrito.

Looking for subpar food with even worse customer service? Look no further, this is the place for you! Most of the regular employees are very nice to deal with, although once you reach management at the register you instantly are overcome with regret about the poor decision to choose Qdoba for a meal. I went once for the first time and wasn't impressed. Unfortunately I received a gift card to Qdoba and had the displeasure of going to this location on two different occassions. The first visit with the gift card I made it to the register which the manager had no clue how to use it, I realized in the interim of them trying to figure out how to use it that they were running a buy one get one free entree for labor day weekend. (8/4-8/7) I asked if the promotion was applied which it was not, apparently they only enter the promo code if you happen to notice the sign they leave at the checkout. So the manager proceeds to tell me that both the promotion and my gift card can not be used at the same time as they were both "promotions". So I let her know that the gift card was in fact real money and not a promotion to which she scoffed and begrudgingly entered in the promo code. Skip to the next day 8/5 since the promotion was running I wanted to get rid of my gift card and take advantage of the labor day offer. I get to the checkout and find the total was one entree too high, so I ask if she can apply the BOGO offer to which she replied, "they called and told us to take the offer down". Really? I call bullshit on that. So I tell her I didn't bring any cash since I knew my gift card had enough to cover my order. The manager asks me what I want to take off... So I said you're not going to honor the promotion that was advertised? She rolls her eyes and very sarcastically says Ill just give you the managers meal. Moral of the story never go to Qdoba again and always steer any potential customers away whenever given the chance. Thank you Qdoba management for reminding me EVERYTHING not to do as a manager since I too manage a store of my own.

This location had a $6 first time check in offer on its Yelp listing. Ordered our food, checked in and then discovered in fine print at the register that the Yelp offer expired in 2012. What business runs a mobile coupon four years after its expiration? Gabby the manager on duty offered an entree upon a future visit, but I would have been much more satisfied if they would stop advertising an expired coupon. I gave her my number to the store manager and haven't gotten a call back yet. Hmmm... As far as food, it's not as spicy as their competitor Chipotle. Given a choice between the two places, my young kids would probably choose to eat here.

Monday military discount!!! Great menu, friendly staff and superb location. I ordered the bowl with white rice, chicken and black beans. They throw chips and salsa for free as part of the Monday special. The food was fresh and served fast. I'll be back!

Great little place. Good quality food. Comparable to Taco Joes up in New York. Their pork is super lean and delish. Full variety of great Mexican foods ... All in one place. Price is good too ... Their naked burrito is great for a platter option too.

Charleston badly needs a Chipotle. Yes, Qdoba is the same format as other quick-serve Tex Mex restaurants. But this one is not very clean and the food simply is not nearly as good. Maybe it was the holiday weekend, but the meats looked like they had been in the warmer a little too long. They tasted like it too. Yuk! I won't be back.

I love Qdoba! And this location is clean, fast and the staff is really friendly. I went w/ my nieces and my nephew who is one and I was impressed that they had high chairs and kid friendly cups. Love this place!

I was expecting a more restaurant style but it was more of a fast food joint. That being said the food was great. Try the two for $6.95 option if your new to the place. The mexican gumbo is delicious

Great food, good service, and very clean. Their guacamole is the best and the salsa verde is also very good.

My most favorite place in Charleston to get big, fat burritos. They have 6 or 7 different ones to choose from. Ingredients are always fresh and they don't shy away from filling your burrito up. It's a little more than Moe's, but well worth it IMHO. Definitely one of the north area's best kept "secrets".

I go here often as it is quick and close to where I work. I always get good food, but the service there is the best. The workers there always go out of their way to be very helpful and honest. Today, we were charged for extra guacamole when we shouldn't have been. We told them don't worry, it wasn't enough to worry about. We had actually told them extra guacamole because we weren't aware that it came with the dish. The manager came to our table half way through the meal to refund the money. Just an example of the service we her there every time.

Also being from LA, I was worried about not having a Chipotle-like substitute. Thankfully, Qdoba is right on par with Chipotle. I got the coma-inducing "pulled-pork" (carnitas) burrito loaded with everything and all is well.

If you've been to Chipotle in other states... this is just like that chain. Good stuff plus their Facebook page is a good way to score discounts and food prizes too.

Good food at a good price. Very friendly service staff. If you don't like Qdoba then you don't like Tex Mex.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
